About Cincinnati School of Music
Cincinnati School of Music cofounders Anna and Joe Backer first met while studying music at a summer festival. From the start, they shared a passion for music that led them to pursue their dreams and build a community music school for students of all ages.
What started as a small music studio has grown into three thriving music schools in Cincinnati. Voted Best Music Instruction six times in Cincy Magazine, CSM provides top-rated music instruction and much more. “We want to go beyond your expectations at CSM. It is a happy atmosphere here because we love what we do, and we believe we are bringing something important to our community”, says Anna Backer.

Convenient Lesson Scheduling 7 Days a Week in Cincinnati
We offer a wide range of music lesson times to accommodate your busy schedule:
11:00am - 9:00pm on Monday-Thursday
11:00am - 7:00pm on Fridays
9:00am - 5:30pm on Saturdays
12:00pm - 6:00pm on Sundays
We also make it easy to cancel or reschedule lessons if you have unexpected schedule conflicts!

Our Cincinnati music students and their families enjoy the most spacious and parent-friendly waiting area in Cincinnati. Instead of waiting in a music store showroom, our clients enjoy a professional waiting area with comfortable chairs, free WiFi, coffee, and filtered water service.

STUDENT MUSIC RECITALS IN CINCINNATI
Recitals are a great opportunity for growth and learning among students and fun for parents to see how much their child has progressed over the year. CSM students can perform in our recitals multiple times a year! Family and friends of CSM students are welcome to join our recitals.
ANNUAL STUDENT PICTURE DAY IN CINCINNATI
We are the only music school in Cincinnati to offer FREE picture days each year for our students. This is a service that our parents really enjoy as they all want quality photos of their children. Students of all ages are welcome to bring their instrument and wear whatever they would like to Picture Day!

MONTH-TO-MONTH MUSIC LESSON STRUCTURE
All lessons are taken month to month. We do not require semester or quarterly minimums to sign up for lessons.
